Samoon Are You Ready To Dream Again 985×1024
Samoon, a group formed by big names in Brazilian Metal, has released its debut album, “Are You Ready To Dream Again,” a work born from clear artistic ambition and a strong sense of purpose. The album boasts a grand proposition, both in terms of technical quality and the gathering of renowned musicians, betting on a sound that balances heaviness, memorable melodies, and sophisticated arrangements, engaging with the genre’s tradition without sacrificing a modern identity. From the very first chords, the album reveals a concern for musical excellence and the construction of a narrative capable of engaging the listener in a coherent and inspiring emotional journey.
Conceived by pianist, keyboardist, and composer Samuel Cirelli, Samoon was born with the aim of establishing itself as a true supergroup, bringing together different trajectories of Brazilian metal around a common artistic vision. Alongside him are Gustavo di Padua (Aquaria, Endless, Almah) on guitars, Raphael Dafras (Edu Falaschi, Aimah) on bass, Gabriel Triani on drums, and Henrique Martins on vocals. This lineup gives the album a solid identity, in which striking melodies, symphonic arrangements, and the characteristic weight of the genre dialogue with influences from bands like Angra, Avantasia, JAM Project, and Iron Maiden, without sounding like a mere repetition of established formulas.

Conceptually, “Are You Ready To Dream Again” is guided by a clear message of hope, overcoming adversity, and reconnecting with one’s own dreams. The compositions invite the listener to move forward even in the face of adversity, reinforcing the idea that believing in oneself is an act of resistance. Far from a naive discourse, the album addresses overcoming adversity as a continuous process, acknowledging human fragility but affirming the importance of never giving up. Tracks like “Are You Ready To Dream Again?” translate this idea by talking about rebuilding even after a breakdown, while “Inside Your Heart” reinforces the notion that the deepest answers lie within each individual.
The album was produced by Samuel Cirelli in partnership with Thiago Bianchi (Noturnall, Shaman), who was also responsible for mixing and mastering the record. The drums were recorded at Estúdio Fusão, while the other instruments were recorded in the musicians’ home studios. The cover art is by Carlos Fides, with the booklet layout developed by João Duarte. The album also features special appearances by Thiago Bianchi, who lends his vocals to the track “Fly to the Stars,” Vitor Veiga (Aquaria, Endless) sings on “Inside Your Heart,” and Thai singer Keera participates in the title track. The tracks “Reach the Skies,” “Life Goes On,” and “Fly to the Stars” were composed by Samuel Cirelli in partnership with Tito Falaschi, reinforcing the collaborative and emotional character of the work.
